Thanks to the drill-down principle, users can quickly and reliably access every detail. Integrated assistance systems support them at every step. This ensures that efficiency and quality remain consistently high.

Challenge and Usage
Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH is part of the Brückner Group, is the market leader in film stretching lines, and has made a name for itself worldwide, particularly in the field of technical films. Its goal: the highest possible output at the lowest possible cost.
The challenge was to translate the enormous complexity into a structure as simple as possible and to replace the traditional machine visualization with a process-oriented approach. ›Easy Operation‹ encompasses not only classic system operation but also historical data, analysis options, and assistance systems. A unified operating philosophy was developed for this purpose.
Process Values Instead of Machine Parameters
With our process-based approach, we are setting new standards in industrial UX and user interface design. Until now, operating machinery required extensive expertise and a highly complex, detailed view of the machine. Machine parameters had to be set directly at the point where they take effect.
The new approach puts the process at the center: Users specify process values such as film temperature. The software calculates the appropriate machine parameters in the background and implements them. This significantly simplifies operation.
Assistance Systems
Various assistance systems are available for critical and frequently used operating procedures. They support users in operating the equipment and guide them step by step through each procedure. These systems are based on predefined operating steps that can be customized. This ensures consistently high efficiency and quality even for complex processes and reduces the likelihood of operating errors.

Beyond Ease of Use
The dashboard is supplemented by a detailed process view. With intuitive drill-down navigation, users can explore the individual steps of film stretching here as well. The production history enables complete traceability of all produced rolls. Quality checks, laboratory analyses, and other measurement values, such as film thickness, are available at any time, either via the global navigation menu or directly within the relevant context. In this way, the comprehensive set of features helps both beginners and experts ensure stable and efficient production.
