Baumann – Depanelizer for PCBs
HMI Project supported the company Baumann in developing a new user interface for robot cells. The project was supervised from analysis through the operating concept to the interface design. The implementation took place at the customer's site with .NET technology. The new interface was presented for the first time at the Automatica 2016 trade fair in Munich. It is planned to also transfer the interface to other products from Baumann. The owner-managed company Baumann GmbH with its headquarters in Amberg, Bavaria, has been active in the field of industrial automation for over 30 years and has a workforce of 400. Its core competences are robot technology for automation and the required process integration as well as special-purpose machinery.
