German Design Award für Reifenhäuser – Präsentation auf der K Messe

Our new user interface for the Reifenhäuser Group is currently being presented for the first time at the K trade fair. We are particularly pleased that the project has just been honored with the German Design Award! The new UI can be experienced live at the Reifenhäuser booth in Hall 17/C22 until October 15.

The challenge of combining highly complex and heterogeneous requirements from different extrusion areas in a flexible and scalable system was enormous – which makes us all the more delighted that the project has now been honored with this prestigious design award.

Reifenhäuser is a technology leader in sustainable plastics extrusion. The company's machines process sensitive materials such as biopolymers in complex processes to produce end products for medicine, hygiene, packaging, etc. in hall-filling systems.

The interface graphically uses the metaphor of a folded foil, creating a sense of spatial depth that ensures visual coherence and makes the user interface more intuitive.
