iF DESIGN AWARD GOLD 2022 for SIG CRUISER

Our Project ›SIG CRUISER‹ has won the highest distinction – the iF DESIGN AWARD 2022 Gold – and is now one of the top winners of the world-renowned design label. From almost 11,000 submissions from 57 countries, only the 73 most outstanding design achievements were honored with Gold. Never before has this honor been as exclusive and valuable as this year!

›SIG CRUISER‹ won over the 132-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, with its user-centered approach. ›SIG CRUISER‹ won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2022 Gold in the discipline ›User Interface‹, in the ›Product Interfaces‹ category. The jury released the following statement regarding its decision to issue [product/project] the Gold award: ›With a user-centered approach and solid development methodology, Sig Cruiser provides consistency from shop floor to top floor and ensures fast reaction times and convenience for both the operator and service team. The interface design is exceptionally straightforward and friendly in terms of flow, layout, and graphics, allowing a single operator to manage the entire line.‹

Since 1954, the iF DESIGN AWARD has been recognized as an arbiter of quality for exceptional design. The iF label is renowned worldwide for outstanding design services, and the iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most important design prizes in the world. Submissions are awarded in the following disciplines: Product, Packaging, Communication and Service Design, Architecture and Interior Architecture, Professional Concepts, User Experience (UX) as well as User Interface (UI). All awarded entries are featured on the iF Design Website and in the iF Design App.

The iF DESIGN AWARD NIGHT took place on 16 May 2022 at Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin.

After this success, HMI Project is in 8th place in the iF ranking for product interfaces among the top 10 and in 71st place among the TOP 100 design studios.
